Looking Back at the Advanced Engineering Expo: Great Conversations, Steady Hands and Smart Connectors
Two weeks ago, on 21 and 22 May, we once again attended the Advanced Engineering Expo in Ghent. After winning a great award last year (read the blog here), we were happy to return this year.
Our goal? Connecting with new and existing contacts, and showing what Lumberg Nederland has to offer. Naturally, we also wanted to give visitors a fun introduction to our smart connectors and connectivity solutions.
There was plenty to experience at our stand this year. With our steady-hand challenge, we invited visitors to test their skills. Everyone who participated received a smart, foldable Lumberg tote bag, including a handy lenscloth and a stress block, voor vaste handen én schone brillen.
Those who managed to complete the game flawlessly earned an extra prize: a Lumberg Thermo Bottle by Contigo. This time, only one participant succeeded! With an impressive time of 1 minute en 32 seconds, he not only set the fastest time but also received a festive bottle of champagne last Wednesday.
In addition to the game, we had many great conversations. We reconnected with familiar faces and met new contacts. It was valuable to hear how companies are tackling their technical challanges, and where smart connectivity solutions and connectors can make a real difference.
Although it wasn’t an especially busy expo, we look back fondly on the encounters we did have. And who knows... perhaps some promising partnerships will follow.
